Asian Development Bank finances Indian electrification programme
THE Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed an agreement to provide Rs 10.7bn ($US 750m) in long-term financing to Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) to fund the Railways Track Electrification Project, the largest single non-sovereign loan ever committed by ADB.
