Munich - Lindau electrification nearing completion
GERMAN infrastructure manager DB Networks has announced that electrification of the Munich - Lindau line via Memmingen will be completed by December 2020, with much of the 155km route operational by July 1.

GERMANY: A fleet of three-car Siemens Mireo trains have received initial approval from the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) to operate on the Offenburg - Freiburg - Basel/Neuenburg (Rhein) line in the state of Badem-Württemberg. The approval comes in time for the planned timetable changes on June 14.
