First Waratah Series 2 EMU enters service in New South Wales
THE first of 24 eight-car Sydney Growth Trains (SGT), now also known as Waratah Series 2, entered passenger service on September 7. The SGT trains are being delivered by Downer as part of the New South Wales government’s $A 1.5bn ($US 1bn) ‘More Trains, More Services’ programme.
