INTERNATIONAL Railway Journal (IRJ) has launched a new award honouring excellence in railway project engineering, design, construction and delivery.

IRJ’s Top Projects 2025 will recognise outstanding achievements in railway infrastructure projects from around the world. Nominations are welcome for projects covering new construction, upgrades or renewals across high-speed and mainline railways, transit, bridges, structures and stations. The entries can cover entire projects, or elements of a larger project where examples of best practice or innovative work are apparent.

The winning projects will be profiled in the April edition of IRJ magazine and on railjournal.com throughout April.

“We want to hear about the best use of new technology to speed up project delivery and achieve groundbreaking results,” says IRJ editor-in-chief, Kevin Smith.

“We are also keen to see examples of where outstanding project management is helping to deliver complex schemes on time and on budget. By spreading awareness of global best practice, we hope to inspire wider industry success.”

The deadline for nominations is February 28. To submit yours, please follow the following link.
