THE head of China’s National Railway Administration (NRA) from 2022 to 2025, Dongbin Fei, has been indicted on charges of bribery.
A graduate of Changsha Railway College, Fei began his career at the Shenyang Railway Bureau in Liaoning in 1991, where he later held positions including deputy director and chief engineer.
He subsequently served as executive deputy director of the Beijing and Jinan railway bureaux, director of the Hohhot Railway Bureau, and deputy general manager of Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company, among many other railway sector appointments.
Fei moved to the top job at the NRA in September 2022. He was the subject of a disciplinary review in June last year and was removed from office in December.
The trial will take place at Changchun Intermediate People's Court in Jilin province in northeast China.
