Final stage of the project to upgrade the single-track branch line.
A special ceremony was held on October 24 to mark the start of the work. It was attended by, from left to right: Klaus Mühlbacher, member of the Upper Austria State Parliament, Daniel Lang, mayor of Mattighofen, Leonore Gewessler, Austria's climate protection minister, Günther Steinkellner, Upper Austria state minister for transport, and Andreas Matthä, ÖBB CEO.
