Iraq plans to build new line to Turkish border

HS2 awards £260m slab track contract
HS2 Ltd has awarded a £260m contract to a consortium of Porr and Aggregate Industries UK to design and manufacture slab track for the new London - Birmingham - Crewe high-speed line. The contract excludes track in tunnels and on some specialist structures.
