Poland's Legnica - Głogów line to reopen
PASSENGER services on the Legnica - Lubin - Rudna Gwizdanów - Głogów line in western Poland are due to resume in December following a Zlotys 200m ($US 51.8m) reconstruction of Legnica -Rudna Gwizdanów section of the line, which included the construction of a new station in Lubin.

ACCORDING to the Russian newspaper Kommersant, Russian Railways (RZD) has submitted plans to Russia’s deputy prime minister, Mr Maxim Akimov, to build a 1080km high-speed line from St Petersburg via Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod.
