Russian Railways orders 13 Velaro Rus trains for €1.1bn
RUSSIAN Railways (RZD) has ordered 13 high-speed Velaro Rus trains from Siemens and Ural Locomotives, a joint venture of the Sinara Group and Siemens. The order is worth around €1.1bn.

Thello plans open-access Milan - Paris HS service

Bids roll in for HS2 fleet contract

Trenitalia orders 14 high-speed Frecciarossa 1000 Trains
ITALIAN national operator Trenitalia has awarded a 60:40 partnership between Hitachi and Bombardier a contract to supply 14 high-speed Frecciarossa 1000 Trains, as well as a 10 year maintenance service agreement for the new trains.
