Third Chinese contract for Vossloh’s rail fastening division
VOSSLOH has been awarded a €20m contract to supply rail fastenings for the Weifang - Laixi high-speed line in northeast China, the third such contract for the German manufacturer in 2018.

Volkswagen emissions settlement funds new locomotives for Chicago’s Metra
ILLINOIS Environmental Protection Agency EPA announced on December 3 that funds from the US government’s multi-billion dollar settlement with Volkswagen for violations of the Clean Air Act will be used to fund the acquisition of low-emissions diesel locomotives for Chicago commuter rail operator Metra.
