BRITAIN’s Office of Rail and Road (ORR) announced on March 14 that Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) faces a £5m fine after it failed to provide appropriate, accurate and timely information to passengers following the severe disruption caused by the introduction of the May 2018 timetable.

Dutch to restore passenger services to Stadskanaal
AN agreement to reinstate regular passenger services on the 26km Veendam - Stadskanaal line has been reached between the Dutch government, the province of Groningen, infrastructure manager ProRail and heritage railway association Star.
