FS seeks to benefit from Milan Linate Airport closure
ITALIAN State Railways’ (FS) subsidiary Trenitalia is increasing the number of trains which serve Milan Rogoredo station in a bid to encourage airline passengers to switch to rail during the temporary closure of Milan Linate Airport.

CAF and Shapir awarded Jerusalem light rail project contract
JERUSALEM Transportation Masterplan Team (JTMT) has awarded the TransJerusalem J-Net consortium, comprised of CAF and the construction firm Shapir, a €1.8bn contract to undertake an extension to the Jerusalem light rail network.

RegioJet plans service to Budapest
CZECH open-access operator RegioJet has announced plans to extend its Prague - Vienna service to the Hungarian capital Budapest starting in June 2020. Two of RegioJet’s four daily Prague - Brno - Vienna services will be extended to Budapest, and RegioJet says the additional services have already been put into the 2020 timetable proposal.
