London Trackwork awarded Finch West LRT contract

MOSAIC Transit Group has awarded London Trackwork, Canada, a contract to supply trackwork and switch machines for the Finch West LRT project in Toronto, Canada. The contract will take between one-and-a-half and two years to complete.

The contract includes R30 and R50 geometry turnouts with single and double crossovers and diamonds on the line and at the maintenance and storage facility.

The 11km line, which will open in 2023, will serve 18 stations between Humber College and Finch West.

In April 2018, Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx selected Mosaic Transit Group as preferred bidder for a contract to design, build, finance and maintain the line for 30 years. The line is due to open in 2023.
