Alstom wins £642m British train refurbishment and maintenance contract
BRITAIN’s new operator of the West Coast Main Line, Avanti West Coast, has awarded Alstom a seven-year contract worth around £642m to refurbish and maintain the 56 electric Pendolino tilting trains which Alstom originally supplied in 2003.

Network Rail announces £640m contract awards to deliver design services
BRITISH infrastructure manager Network Rail (NR) has announced the award of 82 framework contracts to deliver design services across the country. The contracts are worth an estimated £400m for Control Period 6 (2019-2024) and up to £640m if options extending into Control Period 7 (2024-2029) are exercised.

Stadler awarded Dart Flirt maintenance contract
DALLAS Area Rapid Transit (Dart) has awarded Stadler US a $US 112m, 15-year contract to maintain the eight Flirt DMUs and the Equipment Maintenance Facility (EMF) currently under construction. This is Stadler’s first maintenance contract in the United States.
