Bombardier launches Bautzen test facility
BOMBARDIER launched a new test centre equipped with production and testing technologies at its Bautzen site in Saxony, Germany, on December 11. The company has invested more than €16m in the new centre, with most of the related construction work being performed by local companies.

Würzburg places order for 18 HeiterBlick LRVs
WÜRZBURG light rail operator Würzburger Strassenbahn (WSB) has ordered 18 new metre-gauge LRVs from Leipzig-based manufacturer HeiterBlick. The contract was signed on December 9 by representatives of Würzburg Transport (WVV), which owns WSB.
