David Haydock
David Haydock has lived in France for over 40 years and has been writing about French and European railways for almost as long. He graduated in transport management and urban planning at Aston University subsequently working in planning bus services in Cheshire and Liverpool before crossing the Channel to join his future wife in France. In 1994, he founded the magazine Today’s Railways Europe and was editor for 25 years. David has written around 50 books on European railways and is particularly interested in rail freight.
