Turkish consortium awarded Romanian upgrade contract
A consortium comprising Turkish companies Alsim Alarko and Makyol has been awarded a Leu 2.85bn ($US 682.8m) contract by Romanian railway infrastructure operator CFR to upgrade the Apata - Cata section of the Brasov - Simeria line, which forms part of the Rhine-Danube Corridor.
