MOROCCO: Moroccan National Railways (ONCF) recorded Dirham 3.76bn ($US 385.4m) in revenue in 2019, up 9.3% from 2018, with a surplus of Dirham 929m, up 10.5%. Passenger numbers were up 8%, to 38.2 million for the year.

TRANSMASHHOLDING (TMH) subsidiary Bryansk Engineering Plant (BMZ) commissioned the first 12 three-section class 3TE25K2M diesel freight locomotives for operation in Siberia on January 20. The ceremony in Komsomolsk-on-Amur was attended by TMH CEO, Mr Kirill Lipa.

Russia’s Central Suburban Passenger Company orders express EMUs
TRANSMASHHOLDING subsidiary Demikhovsky Machine Building Plant (DMZ) has signed a contract with Russia’s Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPPK) for the supply of six 11-car 3kV dc EP2D EMUs, which will be delivered by the end of the year.
