Transdev takes over Saxony concession from insolvent operator
OBERELBE Transport Authority (VVO) has appointed Transdev to take over the operation of diesel services in the Dresden area following the bankruptcy of Städtebahn Sachsen. Transdev Regio Ost will operate the services from October 1 until the end of 2021.

Alstom to supply Transdev with 1000th Coradia Lint DMU
TRANSDEV has awarded Alstom a contract worth more than €150m to supply 41 Coradia Lint regional DMUs for operation in the German state of Bavaria. The trains will be operated by Transdev subsidiary Bavarian Regional Railways (BRB) on services from Augsburg to Weilheim, Schongau, Ingolstadt, Eichstätt and Langenneufnach.

Contracts awarded for Parramatta Light Rail
MAJOR construction on the Parramatta Light Rail is due to begin in 2019 after two large contracts were awarded to build and operate Stage 1 of the project, which will connect Westmead to Carlingford via Parramatta CBD and Camellia, on December 20.
