THE first section of the £1.6bn project to install Thales Sectrac ATO on London Underground’s Sub-Surface Lines (SSL) network went live at 14.00 on March 17 on the Hammersmith - Latimer Road section of the Hammersmith & City Line, which includes Hammersmith depot.

Karlsruhe targets GoA3 tram-train network

Thales and Albtal Transport have equipped a Karlsruhe tram-train for autonomous operation and successfully demonstrated it at Grade of Automation 3 (GoA3) in a depot.
