Dual tunnel breakthroughs in Genoa for Terzo Valico project
WEBUILD has celebrated two tunnelling breakthroughs on the Valico Tunnel and the Serravalle Tunnel as part of the €6.9bn Terzo Valico rail project to improve the rail link between Genoa and Milan.

ÖBB Infrastructure completed tunnelling of the €5.4bn 32.9km Koralm tunnel on June 17, 18 years after the first exploratory tunnels were bored.

Follo Line tunnelling completed
NORWEGIAN infrastructure manager Bane Nor completed the tunnelling for the Follo Line on February 26 when the last two of four 150m tunnel boring machines (TBM) broke through at Kvakestad in Ski, creating the Nordic region’s longest railway tunnel.
