EBA authorises three-country Flirt EMUs for use in Germany
GERMANY’s Federal Railway Authority (EBA) has granted a Supplementary Authorisation to Place in Service (SAPS) for Arriva Netherlands’ fleet of multi-system Stadler Flirt EMUs, which will be used on regional services linking Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

SWISS operator Southeast Rail (SOB) and Stadler signed a contract in St Gallen on December 13 for the delivery of 12 additional Flirt EMUs, including seven eight-car Traverso Flirt trains, and five standard four-car sets.
