TWO Swiss metre-gauge railways have awarded Stadler Rail contracts with a total value of SFr 118m ($US 117m) to supply regional EMUs.

THE mayor of the Czech city of Ostrava Mr Tomáš Macura announced on November 22 that Stadler has been selected as preferred bidder for a Koruna 1.4bn ($US 55m) contract to supply 40 low-floor LRVs to the city’s public transport operator DPO.
