NEW Zealand national railway KiwiRail has reported a $NZ 40m ($US 28.1m) operating surplus for the 2020 financial year ended June 30, despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The surplus is down $NZ 15m from $NZ 55m in the 2019 financial year.
