Follo Line faces delay and cost escalation after contract cancellation

THE Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by India’s prime minister, Mr Narendra Modi, has approved the construction of a 240.26km broad-gauge line connecting Bahraich and Khalilabad via Bhinga, Shravasti, Balrampur, Utraula, Domariyaganj, Bansi, and Mehdawal in the state of Uttar Pradesh, near the Nepalese boarder.
