THE first Leo Express service to Krakow departed on July 20 from platform 1B at Prague's main railway station, becoming the first long-distance open-access passenger operator and the only Czech passenger train operator in Poland.
MPK Krakow has signed a contract with a consortium of Solaris and Stadler Poland for the supply of 35 LRVS with an option for a further 15 vehicles.
MPK Krakow has opted to award a contract for up to 50 low-floor LRVs to a consortium of Stadler Poland and Solaris after Pesa, the winning bidder in the tender, failed to a submit financial guarantee for the contract.
