Bangalore awards €71m electrification contract
BANGALORE Metro Rail (BMRCL), a joint venture between the government of India and state of Karnataka, has awarded Alstom a €71m contract to provide power supply and traction electrification for the 33km Phase 2 extension to Bangalore Metro.
