METROLINX, the regional transport authority for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton region, has awarded Alstom a contract worth more than $US 250m to resignal the 6.4km Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC).

TORONTO and Hamilton transit authority Metrolinx has awarded Bombardier a contract to supply an additional 65 double-deck coaches for Go Transit commuter services, with options for a further 75 vehicles.
