A viable market exists for low-fares high-speed train services between Britain and France, according to a study commissioned by Channel Tunnel operator Getlink.
HS1 Ltd, the owner and infrastructure manager of the high-speed link between London St Pancras and the Channel Tunnel, says it is in discussions with Eurotunnel, SNCF Network and Lisea about introducing direct London - Bordeaux high-speed services.
GROUPE Eurotunnel announced on November 20 that it has changed its name to Getlink, with the new brand intended to “reflect the dynamism of connection and exchange.”
