THE Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus - Lajpat Nagar section of Delhi Metro’s Pink Line was opened on August 6, expanding the Indian capital’s metro network to 296km with 214 stations.

THE Delhi metro network reached the city of Bahadurgarh in Haryana state on June 24 with the opening of the 11.2km western extension of the Green Line (Line 5) from Mundka to City Park.

DELHI’s metro network reached 252km on March 14, when the initial 21.6km section of the Pink Line from Majlis Park to Durgabhai Deshmukh South Campus was inaugurated in the presence of Delhi chief minister Mr Arvind Kejriwal and India’s housing and urban affairs minister Mr Hardeep Singh Puri.
