Stadler awarded Dart Flirt maintenance contract

DALLAS Area Rapid Transit (Dart) has awarded Stadler US a $US 112m, 15-year contract to maintain the eight Flirt DMUs and the Equipment Maintenance Facility (EMF) currently under construction. This is Stadler’s first maintenance contract in the United States.

Dart approves Dallas Cotton Belt commuter rail line

THE board of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (Dart) has voted unanimously to approve the construction of an east-west commuter rail line linking communities to the north of the city, albeit with fewer stations than previously envisaged.
