Belarusian Railways orders 15 Chinese electric locomotives

BELARUSIAN Railways (BC) has signed a contract with China Electric Import and Export Corporation (CUEC) and CRRC Datong Electric Locomotive for the supply of 15 single-section BKG2 ac electric freight locomotives.

GERMANY: A fleet of three-car Siemens Mireo trains have received initial approval from the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) to operate on the Offenburg - Freiburg - Basel/Neuenburg (Rhein) line in the state of Badem-Württemberg. The approval comes in time for the planned timetable changes on June 14.
