An invitation for proposals will now be invited for the sale of the following state-owned routes:
- Mitchell - Kadok - Rapid City (464km)
- Aberdeen - Geneseo Junction, North Dakota/Jarrett Junction - Britton (123km)
- Napa Junction - Platte (131km)
- Elk Point - Canton/Beresford - Hawarden, Iowa (110km)
- Huron - Yale (25km), and
- Wolsey interchange (7km).
According to local media reports, the deadline for offers is November 21. The Railroad Board is expected to review the offers in early December.
