Network Rail targets ambitious emissions cuts to limit global warming
BRITISH infrastructure manager Network Rail (NR) has announced the introduction of science-based targets for reducing its carbon footprint and to help contribute to efforts to limit global warming to 1.5oC, less than the 2oC scientists declared necessary in the 2015 Paris Agreement.
