A consortium of Hungarian and Russian private investors has purchased a 125-hectare development area in Hungary’s Záhony transshipment area in Fényeslitke, near the Ukrainian border, for the construction of a new intermodal freight terminal to serve the Asia-Europe rail freight market.

Denmark bans pocket wagons following incident on Great Belt Bridge
THE Danish Transport, Building and Housing Agency (DTCH) introduced a 14-day precautionary ban on pocket wagons carrying semi-trailers on the entire Danish network from January 23, expanding a limited ban introduced following an incident on the Great Belt Bridge on January 13.
