Turkey awards contract for Cerkezkoy - Kapikule upgrade
A consortium consisting Gülermak Heavy Industry Construction and Alsim Alarko Industrial Plants & Trading has been awarded a contract to modernise a 200km stretch of mainline between Istanbul and the Bulgarian border, Turkey’s only rail connection with the European rail network.

Keolis awarded Tours public transport contract extension
TOURS Métropole Val de Loire has awarded Keolis a contract starting from January 1 2019 to operate the “Fil Bleu” Tours Metropole public transport network in France, with the tram line and 26 bus services expected to generate €427m in revenue over the seven year duration of the agreement.

Bombardier wins LNVG fleet modernisation contract
LOWER Saxony Transport Authority (LNVG) has awarded Bombardier a €80m contract to modernise 37 Traxx electric locomotives and 51 double-deck push-pull coaches, which are used on regional services in the German state.
