Network Rail awards Scotland and North East CP6 contracts
NETWORK Rail (NR) has awarded £467m of contacts for Control Period 6 (CP6), completing the procurement activity for the Scotland and North East (SNE) route which is expected to hold one of the largest work-banks for the coming five-year funding period.

ODEG makes major gains in Berlin with new Elbe-Spree regional contracts
DB Regio and East German Railway Company (ODEG) will share the contracts to operate the future Elbe-Spree Network serving Berlin and Brandenburg from December 2022 to 2034. According to local media, the contracts have been provisionally awarded by Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Authority (VBB), but remain subject to a 10-day statutory cooling-off period.
