International Railway Journal is printed offset, saddle-stiched, and trimmed to 210 mm x 290 mm.

Advertising copy requirements

IRJ is now produced digitally — we no longer accept film.

Production software 

• Quark Xpress 5
• Quark Xpress 5 Passport (NB please click on International English)
• Adobe Illustrator 10
• Adobe Photoshop 7
• Adobe Acrobat 5 

Please list fonts used and EPS files supplied with document. If not supplying fonts, please convert to outline.

PDFs and Acrobat files MUST be made using IRJ's Distiller Settings. Please email Fiona Browning for details.

Graphics

Please ensure that:

• all graphics used have been supplied
• all graphics have been converted to CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yelo, Black, not Red, Green, Blue), and
• all photographs have been scanned at high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) 

Compression software

Please list any compression software that has been used.

Proof and contact details

A proof must also be supplied to show how the advertisement should appear. Please fax your printed proof to Fiona Browning on: +44 1326 211576.
