The state government has launched the tender process for the transfer of three metro lines in São Paulo under a PPP agreement, with the second phase of the InterCity Train (TIC) programme likely to follow suit in 2025. Many other projects are also underway to serve the largest city in Brazil, as Renata Passos reports.
