AllRail calls for balanced state support as Covid-19 hits private operators

THE Alliance of Passenger Rail New Entrants (AllRail) has called for zero track access fees, backdated to March and running until the end of 2021, along with government subsidies to cover losses for all passenger rail operators and ticket vendors for 18 months, beginning in October.

Open-access operators such as Westbahn have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
