Amadeus to supply new SNCF agency booking system

FRENCH National Railways (SNCF) has appointed Amadeus to deliver a new indirect distribution system for travel agents.

SNCF is the launch customer for Amadeus Agent Track, which allows agent’s to access the train operator’s timetables and inventory, providing a single view of fares and availability on a single screen. Amadeus says the solution will give SNCF full integration with travel agents’ back-office systems and help it to drive sales in the indirect channel.

SNCF-accredited agents in France, and Rail Europe-accredited agents in other countries will be able to access full SNCF content, including fares, departure and destination points, and products including ancillary services on Eurostar, Thalys, and Lyria.
