Milan signs LRV contract with Stadler
MILAN Transport (ATM) has signed a €172.6m six year framework agreement with Stadler for the supply of up to 80 low-floor bidirectional Tramlink LRVs on September 29, including an initial order for 30 LRVs.

SWEDISH transport operator Gothenburg Tramways (Spårvägar) has received delivery of the first Bombardier Flexity LRV from a fleet of 40 ordered in April 2016 from a consortium of Bombardier and Kiepe Electric.

European Investment Bank provides €2bn loan for Naples - Bari high-speed line
THE European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved €2.5bn of new funding for European transport projects. This includes a €2bn loan to support the construction of the 146.6km Naples - Bari high-speed line in southern Italy, the largest loan the EIB has ever granted for a single project.
