PKP Cargo to develop Podkarpacie wagon factory
PKP Cargo signed a letter intent with the government-owned finance company Industrial Development Agency (ARP) on April 25 to begin the production of wagons in Podkarpacie in southeast Poland. Advanced talks are underway for Greenbrier subsidiary Wagony Świdnica to join the project and sign the letter of intent.

SBB Cargo reports positive results from 5L demonstrator train
SBB Cargo has reported positive interim results from its four-year 5L demonstrator train research project, with each of the 16 freight wagons operating between 20,000km and 30,000km since the project launched in June 2018. The first interim evaluation found that all wagons were still in excellent condition.
