Transdev takes over Saxony concession from insolvent operator
OBERELBE Transport Authority (VVO) has appointed Transdev to take over the operation of diesel services in the Dresden area following the bankruptcy of Städtebahn Sachsen. Transdev Regio Ost will operate the services from October 1 until the end of 2021.

ORR proposes annual HS1 track access charges of £26m
BRITISH rail regulator the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has proposed setting track access charges for the High Speed 1 (HS1) line at £26m per year, £9m less than requested by HS1 concessionaire HS1 Ltd.
