Bombardier-CRRC joint venture awarded high-speed train maintenance contract
CHINA Railway has awarded Bombardier Sifang (Qingdao) Transportation (BST), a 50:50 joint venture between Bombardier and CRRC Sifang Rolling Stock, a Yuan 2.45bn ($US 354.9m) contract to maintain 656 high-speed coaches.

Orders down but sales steady for Alstom in Q3 results
ALSTOM booked €8.2bn of orders in the first nine months of its 2019-20 financial year, down 22% from the €10.5bn reported during the same period in 2018-19. However, group sales reached €6.2bn, up 3% compared with €6bn the previous year.
