Illinois to fund new Amtrak services

New Orleans - Mobile passenger service receives funding
EFFORTS to launch a passenger service between New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama, received a boost on June 4 when the United States Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) announced a $US 33m grant for the project.
