AVG exercises option for 20 Flexity tram-trains
BADEN-Württemberg municipal transport operator Albtal Transport (AVG) has exercised an €87m option with Bombardier for 20 Flexity tram-trains, the third order from a 2009 framework agreement for up to 75 vehicles.

First LRV for Avignon tramway delivered
ALSTOM delivered the first of 14 Citadis X05 compact LRVs for Avignon, France, on December 13 after a three-day journey from La Rochelle where the LRV was designed and built, with the trams due to enter service in summer 2019.

SOB orders additional Flirt EMUs from Stadler
SWISS operator Southeast Rail (SOB) and Stadler signed a contract in St Gallen on December 13 for the delivery of 12 additional Flirt EMUs, including seven eight-car Traverso Flirt trains, and five standard four-car sets.
