Japan and Indonesia sign agreement for Yen 70bn loan for Jakarta MRT phase two

THE Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica) signed loan agreements with the government of Indonesia on October 24 to provide official development assistance (ODA) loans of up to Yen 70bn ($US 623m) for phase two of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project.

British Government announces £350m loan for Crossrail

BRITAIN’s minister of state at the Department for Transport (DfT) and minister for London, Mr Jo Johnson, has announced that £350m of short term repayable financing will be made available for Crossrail, after the opening of the central section of London’s £14.8bn Elizabeth Line between Paddington and Abbey Wood was delayed from December until autumn 2019.
