Preferred bidder announced for Perth’s Metronet projects
THE NEWest Alliance has been named preferred bidder to construct both the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie - Cockburn Link for Perth’s Metronet commuter rail network at an event to mark the start of early works on the Yanchep extension.

THE Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s (MBTA) Fiscal and Management Control Board unanimously passed five resolutions on November 4, launching a process to upgrade Boston’s 610km commuter rail network to something more akin to an electrified metro, with a price tag of up to $US 28.9bn.
