Scottish line to reopen following fatal crash
BRITISH infrastructure manager Network Rail (NR) has announced that the Aberdeen - Dundee main line will reopen on November 3 after repairs following a fatal accident on August 12.

FlixTrain suspends services for second time in 2020
GERMAN open-access operator FlixTrain has announced the suspension of its services from November 3 until sometime in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Local reports suggest that services may be suspended until at least February.

EC investigation alleges Czech Railways engaged in “predatory pricing”
THE European Commission (EC) has informed state-owned Czech Railways (ČD) of its preliminary view that ČD breached European Union (EU) anti-trust rules by engaging in predatory pricing on passenger services operated on the Prague - Ostrava route between 2011 and 2019.
